February: WARF with Belle

Anabella and her friends headed to her birthday playdate at the WARF.

Both Daniel and Anabella opted for small birthday excursions with their friends this year and then to take a trip to Great Wolf Lodge in March for their big birthday celebration. We took Belle's friends on Saturday and Dan's on Sunday. Hadley met us there on Saturday and Caleb on Sunday.

It was so mild that day, it worked out that they could play a little on the playground before going in to swim. Who would've thought? Outdoor birthday fun in February!! 

 All of Belle's friends were neighborhood girls; Joella (on the left) is in her class this year (only friend from her class she invited) and Kendall (on the right) lives one street over from us. We got to know them last year when her brother Walker played soccer on Dan's team and we've all become fast friends. Their mom decided to homeschool this year, so they keep Dan and Belle in the mornings for a half hour or so before they go to school since I have to leave before the bus comes. 

She may have had her friends, but Belle is always happiest to see her Hadley girl. 

Lily, the little girl on the right is our neighbor across the street. 

On to the pool:

All the girls pretty much palled around together in the pool, it was cute.

And....she made her a laminated hall pass, attendance cards, a map, all kinds of cool teacher stuff.

Fortunate to have such thoughtful friends. 

Kendall and Walker stayed for dinner and had some leftover pizza (and birthday cake) with us.
