First Frosty

The day after Christmas we woke up to the first "real" snow of the year (Christmas Eve was a teaser for us because it never the covered the ground). Because it wasn't really forecasted to be much, and the temperatures were quickly rising, we used all 4 sets of hands (MaMa and PaPa were still here) to get bundled up for our first snow of the year and headed out to enjoy it while it was still coming down! (For fear that if we waited, it would be gone!)

Whoever said you can't make a snowman from a half inch of snow, never met PaPa Credle and his two determined lil' helpers!

 

By the time we got inside, the snow had turned to rain. 

 

But, our Frosty remained for several days. 

 

And, then a few days later, we found his magic hat. 

 

Which means, as you know, that Frosty will be back!!

 

Until then, we'll bask in the memories of our First Frosty....
