The day after the night of storms, it was overcast and in the 60s. Not exactly my kinda weather for a water park but that didn't stop our boys.

| While the boys were floating down the lazy river and trying all the slides at Aquatica, my mini and me spent the morning getting in some good Florida shopping and then stopping for lunch at a place I'd heard of called Zaxby's. While I think we consumed about 1000 more calories than our shopping walked off that morning, boy was it ever yummy. And, talk about sweet tea. Mmm, mmm. |

| I love how much Daniel has matured socially this year. Look at him making friends with strangers. Apparently the weather kept a lot of people from Aquatica that morning, so the boys walked right up for the slides and had plenty of room for floating in all the (thankfully very heated) pools. |
Shortly after lunch, we girls headed back to pick up our swimmers as the sky was looking pretty ominous. Just about the time I was about to text Chip to tell him we were on our way, he texted me to say that they were ready to leave as it was about to storm. Just as soon as they got in the van, it started pouring. Another afternoon of thunderstorms.
Back at "home," the boys showered and we headed out for some more shopping as we'd come across a Nike clearance store I thought Chip would like. Sure enough, two shopping bags later, the rain had stopped and we decided to try our luck at Sea World again.

| It was chilly chilly that evening after the rain, so I'm glad we all had jackets. Fortunately for us, the rain sent most of the crowds home from Sea World so we didn't have to worry much about waiting in line, though there were still some. |

| Even though we never saw the sun that day, there was a beautiful sunset that night and it was a perfect evening to enjoy the park, especially from atop the sky tower. |

The next day was Saturday, so this was our last night at Westgate Lakes. Last year, we stayed part of Saturday and got a hotel Saturday night and ended up spending Easter morning on the road, which I wasn't particularly fond of doing. While it's never easy to leave vacation, the forecast for the next two days was nothing but clouds and rain, so that afternoon we had packed up and pretty much decided to leave early the next morning and make the trip in one day so we could be home Sunday morning for Easter.
That's exactly what we did. Up at 4:30 the next morning, and pulled out of Westgates by 5:15am. I don't have any pictures of our 8th day of Spring Break spent on the road, so sadly, this is where our Spring Break 2016 trip ends.
Another fabulous family vacation in the books!
