Christmas Break Day 5, The Day After Christmas

On December 26th, we spent the day with Grandpa (Pa Pa) and Grandma Credle. We tend to visit the Credles more in the summer because they live near the beach, so the babies are used to going outside to play.  Needless to say, even though it was middle of winter, they were anxious to get outside and play.  I thought ahead and packed the bubble wands they got in their stockings, and they had a blast catching bubbles in the courtyard.

Later in the morning we headed to Williamsburg and checked out the Bounce House.  Since the babies had done so much traveling over the last few days, we figured it was a good way for them to expend some energy.  Sure enough, they got rid of some energy! And had a blast doing it!

We saw on the website that they had an "under 4" section, so we explored that first (pictures from above). Then, since there weren't many big kids in the inflatables meant for 4 and up, we decided to give them the opportunity to try those too. We took turns getting in with them at first, but soon they were climbing in and out by themselves. They had so much fun going up and down the big kid slides, it made the "under 4" Animal House look like a playpen!

Anabella is a very coordinated climber.

Daniel's extra weight prevented him from climbing as effortlessly
as Anabella, but I was impressed with them both.
That climb must have seemed like an Everest to their little 25 lb. bodies!

After a fun morning at the Bounce House, we returned to the Credles for naps and dinner. After that, we got back on the road and drove home, while the babies (and dogs) slept the entire way (our ideal form of travel).
