Berry Picking

Last week on Granny's birthday, we went berry picking at Hartland Orchards with Granny, Lindsay, Caleb and Hadley.

We had a pumpkin patch picnic in October at Hartland Orchard in Markham, and we picked the last of the tomatoes still hanging on the vines. The owners were so friendly, we vowed to return, and keeping our promise, we had another fun time exploring this orchard, only this time we were in search of blueberries!

There were plenty of berries, though it took a while to fill a pint of them. 

In fact, it took so long to pick this pint of blueberries, I decided to wait on the blackberries, and returned to the orchard on my way home from Lindsay's house to get those.

The kids had a great afternoon at Caleb's house checking out his new swingset and newly finished basement! Anabella took good care of Hadley, of course.  And, Granny was happy to spend her birthday with her grandchildren and great grandchildren!

 Here's Granny trying to keep them in "jail" so I can get a picture- impossible! Almost as impossible as trying to get Daniel and Anabella with Hayden and Ryan!
