Second Graders

Goodness, I was just filling out a form the other day and I had to fill in "grade" for the kids. I almost put Pre-K!

Nope, second graders!

Here they are on the first day:

I was not prepared for Daniel's tears as he's always loved school and first day jitters has never been an issue, but this year there were tears. Lots of them. 

She picked out this backpack and was pretty proud. :)
She told me to take a picture of it. 

Who has the best husband?
Did he know the kind of morning I would have?
What a wonderful surprise to have delivered to me at school. 

Happy on Day 2. 

By Friday, it was all good again. :)
