We spent the rest of Easter Day at Granny's house. The weather was beautiful, so we spent most of the day outside.
When we arrived, we watched the little ones open their Easter presents. Here I am with Peyton, my cousin Leslie's daughter. Seems purple was the color of the day!
Then, it was time to eat. Calling all little ones to the picnic table....
Though we officially met Hadley, Caleb's baby sister, at Caleb's birthday party on Saturday, Easter was the first occasion Anabella and Daniel had to say hello! I was eating at the time, but these pictures speak for themselves! (And Mom, Granny and Chip each told me their version, which essentially added up to the fact that Anabella was absolutely mesmerized! Daniel, intrigued, but didn't spend as much time examining each limb to determine if it did, in fact, move!! They were both very gentle, and Anabella treated her just like she does her baby dolls, even giving her a hug and kiss!)
Ryan and Hayden arrived in style!
No matter how hard we try, it is hard to get a picture of these four together! This one is the best we managed to do. (Don't you love that Dan Credle is wearing a baseball hat? Kinda adds character, don't you think? I tried to get him to take it off for pictures, but he is one hat lovin' boy! )
After several rounds in the wagon (they did enjoy it, even though you can't tell from their expressions), we decided to try out our new bubble toys.
Then, it was time for an Easter egg hunt!
Daniel decided he'd had enough Easter egg hunting, this truck was calling his name!
They started Easter morning with a chocolate bunny and ended with an ice cream cone!
How's that for a Sweet fun-lovin' Easter!
