Credle Family: Easter

Easter morning was lots of fun. We'd been hiding Easter eggs most of March, so when it was time to find them on Easter morning, Daniel and Anabella were pros!

Hey, look, these eggs have candy in them!

Yum!

Let's go find our baskets!

They searched and searched.
Then, finally Anabella spotted some new stuff behind the couch in the den.

Only no baskets!
Daniel got a new ball and some Legos- building with legos is his new favorite thing to do.

Anabella was thrilled with her pink princess lap desk.
But, where were the baskets?

Ta-da!
(she really did say this- it cracks me up to hear them use
my words and expressions!)

They got some candy this year- Peeps (they love marshmallows just like their Daddy does!)
And they got some jelly beans and M&M's in their eggs.
They also each got a barrel of monkeys, along with a new water bottle,
a few books and some other trinkets.

And, what does Anabella reach for first- the giant coloring book!
She used up all the pages in the giant one Allie got her for her birthday ( and most of Daniel's, too).

Daniel brought some of his Legos to the table while I was making breakfast.
If you look closely, you'll see that he is using his CARS coloring pad as a placemat.
ha!

We went to the 11am church service, which was later than the one we usually attend at 9:30am.
I wish I would have thought to get pictures of these cuties all dressed in their
Easter best, but I didn't think about it until we got in the car. But, I did manage to
snap these with my phone on the way there.

We got to Granny's about 2pm.
They couldn't wait to dig into their Easter baskets!

Hmm, guess they had some fruit snacks in there!
(I was finishing dinner when they opened these, so that's why
Daniel is eating fruit snacks in the living room and I don't have any pictures of their baskets.)
They got a new bubble set (Dan got a Jake boat and Belle a princess castle) and fishing rods, along with some other fun stuff. Daniel was especially excited
about his fishing rod (second only to the fruit snacks!).

Hadley turned 1 year old on Easter.
We celebrated her birthday the day before at her very cute
Very Hungry Caterpillar party. Here's Anabella doting on her, as usual.

Daniel also really liked this windmill thingy that Aunt Julie brought the kids.

Unlike last year's Easter egg hunt, which was held outside; this year's was
held in the living room as the weather didn't cooperate for an outdoor hunt.
Ryan and Hayden did a great job hiding eggs for the little ones!
