July Wrap-up

Here we go: July fun!

Dress Like a Cow Day! 

We had lunch with Lindsay and the kids and then went to the pool.
We went again for dinner with Daddy!

One weekday in July, we visited Aunt Cindy in Fredericksburg. The kids were excited to see where she lived, as it was the first visit they'd made to her townhouse since they were too young to remember the one other time they'd been there. We played at the mall play area, had lunch at Cracker Barrel, went to FunLand and then SweetFrog.

Boy, can this boy play some skeeball! Man! Get that boy a baseball in that hand! 

Surprise! SweetFrog was there!!

There weren't many mornings in July cool enough to open the door to the deck, but you better believe the one morning that was pleasant, this cutie was out there! 

Dan put together this 48 piece puzzle one afternoon with no help at all!
He is so diligent when he has his mind set on something.

At the WARF one afternoon we saw tons of caterpillars. Dan was mesmerized by them. Here he is feeding one a green leaf. Hey, it worked for the Very Hungry Caterpillar! I love the "connections" they make.

Pool party with all my Irving friends. Irving was the first school where I taught in Fairfax Co. Love that I still keep in touch with them, and we still get together for our annual "meetings"....this is the only one per year which involves kids! heehee

Our neighbors got a puppy this month. Lil and Aiden stayed with us while they went to pick him up since it was a surprise for them. They were so entertaining just dancing away! 

Chalk, anyone?
(Daddy, they were taking advantage of you! I do not let them do this. Sidewalk chalk is for drawing, not making a "big fat mess"....hahaha.....why do they like to do that? )
