Daniel and Anabella were so proud to take their bikes to school and participate.
While I love that the school raised money in such a fun way, what REALLY makes me happy is that they had a police officer come in and talk to the kids about bike safety and the importance of always wearing a helmet. While I used to have to beg and plead to get them to wear helmets, now they grab their helmets before I even have to ask. I don't know what he said, but I'm sure glad he did. Money raised and lessons learned, Win/Win! Not to mention fun, too.
