Christmas with the Credles: Day 1

The great thing about Chip having 2 weeks off for Christmas this year is that it allowed us the opportunity to travel to the Credles the weekend before Christmas.

We left early Saturday morning and arrived there around lunchtime.

That evening we went to the Thai restaurant and then drove around to the Christmas lights in Hampton, where there's a house that's sure to get the "tackiest" award! We'd been there before with the twins, but I think they were 2 at the time so they don't remember it.

I think they'll remember it next time!

They were so excited by the lights and loved being able to get out and walk around.

Dan asked on the way there that morning if we could go to the "thai place"....he loves thai food, especially spring rolls! 

There must have been over 100 Barbies....there really was, someone said they'd counted them. 

One little girl told me that there was fifty something in this case. 

They even had "It's a Wonderful Life" playing on a little TV.

It think it's what Charlie Brown would call "commercial" and it was tacky for sure, but we sure did enjoy it!

Back at the Credles it was getting late....but not too late for some cookies!
