Christmas with the Credles: Day 2

On Sunday we celebrated an Early Christmas with the Credles.

Michael traveled down with us belted in the back seat of the van (I forgot to get his picture), and Sunday morning he was hanging out on this giraffe in the family room. 

We started the day at our new favorite breakfast joint (a.k.a. Daddy and Dan's favorite) Waffle House! Our food arrived so quickly, this is the only picture I got. 

Back at home, we opened presents!

The kids were so sweet; they were just as interested in giving their MaMaw and PaPa gifts as they were opening their own, so we all took turns rather than having them go first.

I was pretty pleased with this two sided ornament I picked up for all the grandparents (and us of course) this year at A.C. Moore. It looks really pretty on the tree, and you can fit two pictures in one bulb. 

MaMaw & PaPa loved their set of personalized coasters. 

This is the second year now that they've gotten nutcrackers- they love the ones they got last year so much- they play with them all the time. Now they have new ones to add to their collection- Anabella's was a shoe lover- a fashionista....how fitting!

Daddy got a Steelers Tervis Tumbler.....now he has a new coffee mug...that's dishwasher safe, my favorite kind. 

Frozen alarm clock- she'll need that next year (sniffle).

MaMaw has like a hundred nutcrackers, but this one was so unique, we just couldn't resist.

You better believe, these two were not forgotten.

The kids helped bake several batches of cookies over the course of our time there, and we'd gobble up each batch just as soon as they were made....nothing like a cookie right out of the oven! 

One of their gifts was a set of Osmos for the iPad- a hands on activity where they can arrange tiles- one is Tangram activity where you move shapes to create a picture, and the other is Words for Kids where they can use letter tiles to create words. So cool! What will apple think of next?! 

We had a wonderful early Christmas with the Credles......with more fun to come the next day! Thank you, MaMaw and PaPa for all the nice presents and memories. We sure did have a great time celebrating an Early Christmas with you this year!
