After Christmas

Look closely at this between the two chairs and you'll see a cute boy the morning after Christmas wearing his nerf vest and hiding behind his new nerf gun.

Typical morning after Christmas mess, and this was before we'd even unloaded the van.

Belle made this minion from the modeling clay she got from Santa.

Anabella played with her Doc McStuffins stuff pretty much all day. She went up to the bathroom and got cotton balls, Q-tips, sanitizer, shampoo. She even got a notepad and pen and was writing down "prescriptions." So cute. 

Dan and Daddy had fun building a few forts.

Dan threw this spider from downstairs all the way to the ceiling upstairs!

The kids usually open their gifts from us a few days before Christmas, but since we weren't here, we did it the day after this year.

Belle got a new fluffy pink bathrobe and Dan got a fluffy bear wrap.

A few books- some llama llama (a new favorite) and a new Mo Willems (penguin book) (an old favorite).

I think Chip liked this set about as much as Daniel did. 

We all had fun flying Dan's new remote control/voice activated helicopter.

Solomon slept on a lap every chance he got!

She was using her wristlets from her stocking as part of her equipment. I guess she's the patient here. 

The next day, Belle was back using her modeling clay.

Mom and Dad came over one afternoon a few days after Christmas and I tried out my new skillet and dutch oven and made some homemade spaghetti sauce, which I served over a yummy spinach lasagna.

One afternoon we visited Granny and then stopped by Beth's house to do our gift exchange with Beth and the kids. 

The Credles came back and spent the 30th and 31st with us. LaRue brought new year goodies for the kids.

The Credles took the kids to Nando's Peri Peri in Gainesville for dinner New Year's Eve.

Chip and I tried out a winery in Centreville we've been wanting to try- Bull Run Winery.
