I don't know where to start with October, so thank goodness iCloud organizes my photos electronically for me.....beginning with the first week of October, pictures which would ordinarily be part of "October wrap-up" as it's a bit of hodgepodge.
Anabella started ballet & tap the second week of September and she's doing it on Saturday mornings this year, which is so much more convenient. Both of her classes are surprisingly small, which I find odd considering it's on Saturday, but I'm not complaining because she gets more attention that way.
You know what the return of ballet means- lunch at our favorite hole in the wall Italian place next door.
Here's what this handsome fella is doing new for this year - Cub Scouts! He's also doing soccer as well. More on that in a later post.
Play date with our neighborhood friends, Walker (Dan's age), Kendall (Anabella's friend who is 8) and Dawson (who is only 3 but the easiest kid to watch ever). We "babysat" (if you can call it that because they all entertained one another) one Saturday so their parents could have a date. We were returning the favor since they kept our kids for Back to School night the week before (and told us to go early so we could enjoy dinner out, too).

The Noakes family reunion was the first Sunday in October and Halloween themed. Surprisingly, neither of the kids were interested in wearing costumes. Daniel wanted to wear his new Cub Scout uniform (he was so proud) and Belle said she'd just go as a Steelers' fan. ha! She's gotten increasingly particular about the way things fit and didn't like the way any of her costumes fit her. Said they weren't comfortable.

Enjoying a doughnut after having a mole removed at the dermatologist's office. He was such a brave boy, so proud of him. Wish I could say the same for me, who ended up on the table myself, from almost passing out.
