Father's Day

Anabella's recital was the day before Father's Day, so the Credles were already here and it made for a nice Father's Day since we were able to have breakfast with PaPa and then go to Front Royal later that afternoon for lunch with my dad.

We had a picnic at the same place we went to last Father's Day- Elizabeth Furnace in Fort Valley.

The kids had fun splashing around in the river and collecting minnows in plastic cups, we all enjoyed a nice meal and the guys played a few rounds of corn hole.

Didn't get many pictures, but we had a great time. Dad did the grilling, of course, but he wouldn't have it any other way. And...even though it was Father's Day, grilling is never "work" to a man who loves to grill as much as my Dad.

Back at home later that evening, the kids gave their Daddy the gifts they made for him.

They painted & decorated rocks at school....."my dad rocks!"
Daddy took these to school with him.
